Job Title: Senior Internal Communications & Engagement Partner (MAT Cover 12-month FTC)
Salary: Dependant on experience
Reports to: Chief People Officer (Wacoal Europe & Bravissimo)
Contract Type: Full time, but open to conversation on part-time hours for the right candidate
Location: Bra HQ & Wacoal Europe office - Hybrid Working
We have an opportunity for an experienced internal communications & engagement professional who is passionate about the importance of keeping people informed, with a view to drive engagement and ultimately business performance. We ideally are looking for someone with an understanding of the importance of engagement and measurement of it, and knowledge of working with external providers to do so. The role works in partnership with our management teams across Wacoal Europe and Bravissimo to provide strategic and tactical support.
This is a standalone, partner role so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working at a strategic level but also not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in operationally. The role sits in the People & Culture team who love to collaborate with each other and help where needed.
As a group role, this sits across Wacoal Europe and Bravissimo businesses, however the primary office location will be the Bravissimo office in Leamington Spa. Regular travel to Wacoal Europe’s Desborough office will be expected, alongside spending time in our shops, warehouse and with our customer service team.
Key accountabilities:
To maintain/continuously develop our communications framework that supports the articulation of our organisational strategy and partner with key stakeholders to support the full reach and delivery of this across Wacoal Europe & Bravissimo
To lead our engagement strategy with our external provider in partnership with key stakeholders
Work with Management teams on regular business communications, including monthly business updates and annual business communications across the group
Create/Maintain a culture and communications drumbeat that covers internal events, taking opportunities to talk and listen about what matters to our people, proactively seeking out stories to share
Manage the design, content and continual review of our intranet so that it is easy to find information and helps our people get the job done
Provide advice and support on best practice people communications
Support communications for key projects and business resource groups
Person specification:
Affinity with our purpose and brands
Experience in a similar role successfully implementing people communication and engagement strategies
A track record of partnering with senior leadership teams and navigating organisational complexities
Experience in change communications and cultural alignment projects
Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly with stakeholders
Collaborative working style, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for writing engaging and informative copy, with laser-sharp attention to detail
Curious about the latest technologies, techniques, approaches, best practice and industry thinking
Highly organised, with excellent planning, organisational and delivery skills and ability to manage time, multitask and work under pressure / during a crisis
Working knowledge of Office365 suite (SharePoint as an intranet & Teams) and Canva Pro would be desirable but not essential
